The Papillon Shawl pattern was created by designer Marin Melchior in 2015, and has since been tackled by intrepid knitters all over the world. The Papillon Shawl pattern actually looks a lot harder than it really is. Short row sections in the main colour, a long transition gradient, combined with ridges of garter stitch in the contrast colour, a striking solid, create a stained glass effect that makes for an addictive and gratifying knit.

Every effort has been made in this design to create a pattern that the "average knitter can find success with". Carefully written instructions are colour coded to ensure easy interpretation, and there are tons of pictures throughout to help guide you along your journey.
